Theatre/Orthopaedic Sales Specialist - Dublin

This Medical Device Company is launching a new and exciting product to the market and now require a Theatre/Orthopaedic Sales Specialist to join its team in Dublin.

Role Function -

Dublin Based Position.

Covering the majority of teaching and private hospitals in Dublin, the North East, Midlands and South East.

This role will involve interaction and daily meetings with Orthopaedic Surgeons.

The main focus is to sell in an Orthopaedic setting, to present Orthopaedic devices in a professional capacity, alongside the surgeon.

The position will also involve dealing with Consultant Gynaecologists and Consultant Urologists on a similar level.

Essential Requirements:

A Nursing background (preferably previous work in Orthopaedic Theatre would be a great advantage)

OR

A business degree with a minimum of 3 years Medical Device sales experience, selling in an orthopaedic theatre setting.

Proven track record of sales in previous employment

Very strong communication and personal skills (Ability to connect immediately with people)

Excellent persuasive skills as well as a genuine personality must come across

Proven tenacity and an ability to read and analyse situations

Overall competence in a theatre environment

Proven presentation skills in terms of presenting complex material in group settings

Excellent computer skills especially PowerPoint

The 'listener' rather than the 'teller'
